Why The Justice Corner

Conflict resolution, rights, and life skills, in one story world.

Conflict Resolution

Real tools kids and teens can actually use, not just "use your words," but how to genuinely stand in the middle of a disagreement.

Rights

What your rights actually are, explained plainly, so young people grow up knowing where they stand.

Life Skills

Skills that grow with the reader, from a six-year-old's schoolyard to a teenager's toughest conversations.

Rooted in Jamaica. Written for the world.

Set in Jamaica and shaped by Jamaican language, culture, and community, The Justice Corner makes conflict resolution feel real rather than abstract.

Raising two sons, mediating a thousand disputes, and writing down everything conflict has taught her.

The Justice Corner grew out of Kadine's work helping people navigate conflict, and her experience raising two sons across different countries. She is a mother of two boys, and that has shaped everything else that follows: navigating life across borders, and finding real beauty in cross-cultural living rather than treating it as a complication to survive.
